Several Kentucky players have seen their improved play lead to impressing coaches and earning offers. Here’s a look at which Kentuckians have seen their stock go up in recent months.
Abby West, Grant County – Coming off a Junior season where she averaged 13 points per game, Abby has earned her first offer from Pikeville as she has had a strong AAU season. Looking ahead, she should be one of the best players in the 8th region this season.
Emilee Hope, Henderson County – Another player who will find her way into the 2020 rankings when we update them soon, Hope is one of the best returning scorers in the state and will be among the best Seniors in the western part of the state.
Maddie Drummonds, Conner – The 9th region is loaded with talented players and Drummonds doesn’t always get her due but the college coaches have taken notice as Maddie has gotten her first two scholarship offers. Look for her to be a top 30 player when the rankings update.
Marissa Austin, Webster County – Webster is a three sport star who has a scholarship offer from Oakland City University already and could potentially pick up some more offers before graduation comes. And that’s assuming she chooses to play basketball in college.
Ellie Taylor, Elizabethtown – Ellie has been one of the biggest risers all summer long as she has recently picked up 3 new Division I offers, bringing her total to 4. Taylor is the Robin to Whitney Hay’s Batman at E-Town but there is no doubt she can play at a high level.
