TMT
Faith Robinson
Faith Robinson-F- a knowledgeable evaluator at any level should know two things, you can’t teach heart or desire and all I have by her name in my notes is #BEAST simple because you won’t outwork her. She has the frame, the strength and energy to overpower opponents, she rebounds on both ends and scores after contact plus she and defend inside or out on the perimeter
Jajuana Briggs-G- rebounds and ignites the break well as she pushes the ball past defenders. Sees the floor and finishes strongly after contact. Good defender, showed she could face the basket and score
LaTavic Crosby- G- very athletic, got to the basket and elevated over defenders nicely. When I write “ups” that’s usually a sign but her timing and energy played a huge role in the teams success
Crystal SmithSWAG Elite
Addison Poth-G-unsung hero as she was clutch throughout the tournament shooting a blistering rate from bta but there’s more as she came up with big plays to change the momentum numerous times
Crystal Smith-PG- athletic with a very nice first step enables her to get to the basket and finishes acrobatically. Does a good job of controlling the tempo and setting the offense up, sees floor well
Amber Williams-G- once was just a long ball threat but her game continues to evolve as she creates off the dribble and hits the midrange under pressure. She’s added mass and it has helped because she rebounds and finishes with contact
Platinum Collins
Mollie Daniel-G- only wrote “makes team go” for a variety of reasons because it doesn’t me long to realize what I’m looking at. She can score from just about everywhere on the court and she does it in the flow as she gets teammates involved however when it’s near the crunch, it’s Mollie Time because she can take over
Meagan Johnson-P- when you have size and a strong body certain things are expected, rebound on both ends and finish are among the main ones but playing the passing lane only adds to fire and the heat really turns on because she defends in the paint or outside
DC Queens OKC-DAL
Elizabeth BatelloElizabeth Batello-G- this team had one of the best back courts at the event and Batello just brings “it” to the table. She attacks nicely, finishes strongly and plays the passing lanes. She also scores outside, sort of like playing “around the world” by herself and she sees the floor
Trinity Mitchell-G-defends baseline to baseline and just brings so much energy that it trickles over to teammates. She made plays, wait, she made huge plays from the quarterfinals on but she can score off the dribble or from outside
