Miami East- Senior Camryn Miller is a kid who can play inside out, post up or knock down the jumper. She is a physical kid. Juniors Rori Hunley and Candence Gross also have the ability to contribute, as Hunley is a solid ball handler and shooter, while Gross is a great rebounder and a tough defender. Watch out for their sophomore duo of Paxton Hunley and Kayly Fetters. Hunley is a scrappy player who can get to the rim, Fetters has really progressed at the post position and finishes well. Freshman Megan McDowell is one to watch, very physical and strong.
Newton- the Indians look to get back to where they were a few years ago, and they have a nice nucleus to start that journey. Brooke Deeter and Camryn Gleason return to lead the way. Deeter was an all-conference player while Gleason has a bright future after a solid summer.
National Trail- their top two scorers return for the Trail Blazers. Senior Makena Laird is their key and four year starter who can do everything for them. Senior Davlyn is a defensive specialist, while junior Molly Skinner and sophomores Skyler Ward and J’Da Jackson also return. Ward is the second leading returning scorer. Watch for freshman Micaiah Byrd later in the season after she returns from an injury.
Tri Village- This team is loaded and the defending champs. Seniors Maddie Downing Maddie Downing 6'1" | C Tri-Village High School | 2020 OH , Trissa Porter, Andi Bietry and Lissa Siler have been together forever, and all provide different leadership values. Siler does a great job scoring from the perimeter, Porter runs the show as a complete player, Bietry leads with her defensive presence and Downing had a great summer in the post. The four of them, along with sophomore Meghan Downing Meghan Downing 6'2" | C Tri Village | 2022 State OH all return ro provide a lot of excitement for the folks of New Madison. A pair of freshman, Rylee Sagester Rylee Sagester 5'6" | CG Tri Village | 2023 State OH and Morgan Hunt Morgan Hunt 5'10" | PF Tri Village | 2023 State OH will both contribute majorly to what is expected to be a special season.
