Continue ReadingKentucky’s Senior class is full of scholarship level college players. Several have already committed and will sign this fall. The Class is deep at every position across the board. Here’s a look at some of Kentucky’s best Senior point guards.
Kennedy Igo, George Rogers Clark – She’s almost definitely the best shooter in the state but her abilities as a point guard are often overlooked because of her reputation as a shooter. Kennedy is going to try to finish her GRC career as a 4 time Regional champion. Igo is committed to Northern Kentucky.
Ally Collett, South Laurel – Ally is part of a loaded Senior class for the Lady Cardinals and can get a little overlooked on a team with 4 girls having college offers already. What can’t get overlooked is how Ally is able to score the ball all over the floor and run an offense that is among the best in Kentucky. Collett is committed to Western Kentucky.
Destinee Marshall, Sacred Heart – Already committed to Radford, Destinee is more of a traditional “pass first/floor general” type of point guard than the two ladies ahead of her. Sacred Heart is another seriously loaded group of ladies and Marshall is the engine that makes them go.
Hope Sivori, Mercy – Possibly the most fun player to watch in the class, Hope can run an offense or create her own shots. She plays super hard and flies around making plays on both ends of the court. She has multiple scholarship offers and is our best available prospect at the point guard position right now.
Kiarah Carney, Ballard – Kiarah is coming off a big AAU summer and added a couple of scholarship offers, including to D1 Alabama A&M. Carney does a little bit of everything for Ballard and will have to do even more this year for them to compete in a very stout 7th region.
Other Names to Know:
Morgan DeFoor, Scott County – Committed to Morehead State, Morgan runs the show for the 11th region favorites.
Lauren Lee, Casey County – Lee is going to have a big season for a Casey team that is among the best in the 12th region.
Raychel Mathis, Graves County – Committed to play soccer in college. Mathis is going to try to get the Lady Eagles to Rupp this season.
Tay Scott, McCracken County – Consistently underrated, Tay needs to become a more efficient scorer as a Senior.
Shiayn Elkins, Russell County – A pass first guard, Elkins should get more aggressive on offense in her Senior season.
