It’s never easy picking the Prep Girls Hoops AAU All Star teams. With so many players raising their level of performance this summer, the Class of 2022 was particularly difficult. It’s just so deep! We chose 15 players, but there are another 15 who could just as easily be put on the team in their place without raising too many eyebrows. The state champion Minnesota Fury 2022 UAA team alone could have had seven or eight players make the cut. Alas, we have to draw the line somewhere and so we have.

That means we left out some very talented athletes and high-level prospects. So be it. One of the key differentiating factors in these selections are the intangibles. We leaned heavily on work ethic, attitude, the attributes of a great teammate and the ability to come through in the clutch week after week. The kids who made the list earned it!
