Within these recaps I will be listing out the roster that played together the most throughout the season. If a player switched teams midseason I will place them on the roster I felt like they were on the most. Over the next month I will be pushing these articles out once a day until I run out of teams. These stories will be in alphabetical order by program so All Iowa Attack is up first, followed by Beyond Ball, and so on. Up first in the series is the All Iowa Attack 2020 EYBL team.

Ending Thoughts
Kylie Feuerbach — The lone out-of-state player on the team was a joy to watch this year. She constantly brought her A-game and played at a high level all summer long. She can score on the inside but also knock down the deep ball with consistency. One of the most well-rounded players we saw all season long.
Aubrey Joens — When Joens shoots the ball, you know that it is likely going to drop. This summer she expanded her game and I thought that she was really able to get things going on both ends of the floor. She drove the ball well from the top of the key and finished over strength and size with consistency.
Shateah Wetering — She missed the last third of the season due to injury, but when she was on the floor it was special. With her combination of strength and length there aren’t many other players that can match her. Wetering is a great rebounder and her perimeter shooting got better this summer. She should have a big high school season.
Maya McDermott — McDermott is a ball of energy on the floor. She’s solid in very part of her game and proved this summer to be a heady defender. She’s a combination of skill and speed that many can’t match across the country. Before heading off to Northern Iowa, Johnston is looking to win a title with McDermott at the helm.
Kayba Laube — The best shooter in the state is Laube, and she proved that over and over this summer. Once the shot was up it was pretty much going to go in every time. Laube is an underrated defender who was solid all summer long. She’s going to go down as one of the best sharpshooters in the state.
Maya Gyamfi — Gyamfi is a versatile forward who can play both on the inside and on the perimeter. Her outside shooting was key to All Iowa Attack’s success. Her passing ability out of the post was something that was also on display. Gyamfi has a really good feel for the game and is someone who can change the dynamic of a game.
Maggie Phipps — Phipps is a player who plays hard all the time and is always getting in the right spots to make plays. She is an excellent rebounder for the spot on the floor she plays and isn’t afraid to mix it up on the inside. She’s a good shooter with range on her 3-point shot and created a little consistency with it this summer.
Grace Larkins — Our top ranked player in the 2021 class had a very good summer. She’s so lengthy allowing her to get into the lane and score with ease. Larkins has a variety of moves on the inside and also worked on stretching her game out this summer. She’s going into her junior year with a lot of momentum.
*Caitlin Clark — Clark wasn’t on the roster for a ton of time this summer because she made the USA team where she won a gold medal. Her contributions over the years were key to the groundwork of this team and her play has always been at a high level. Clark had as good of a summer as anyone but the best part of her summer was over 8,000 miles away.
