Within these recaps I will be listing out the roster that played together the most throughout the season. If a player switched teams midseason I will place them on the roster I felt like they were on the most. Over the next month I will be pushing these articles out once a day until I run out of teams. These stories will be in alphabetical order by program so All Iowa Attack is up first, followed by Beyond Ball, and so on. Up next in the series is the All Iowa Attack Multi-Sport team. This is a combination of the two rosters

Ending Thoughts
Samantha Miller — Miller is a small lead guard but showed the ability to command the ball this summer. She is a player who you can get the ball to and be comfortable with her bringing it up the floor. She showed good vision with the ball as well as the ability to score on her own. There is a vacancy at the point guard spot at Mason City and Miller is going to contend for that role.
Karlyn Snider — Snider continually showed this summer that she was one of the toughest players in the state. She’s a well-built and strong lead guard who possesses good court vision with the ability to push the ball up the floor quickly. Snider has the look of a basketball player and once her shot becomes consistent, she’s going to be really hard to stop.
Samantha Greving — Greving is a physical forward who added a touch of quickness as the summer progressed. I thought that she was much improved from the first time I saw her this summer. She has really good hands and the ability to catch a pass on the block and get it in the basket. Greving is starting to become more versatile with how she plays.
Maddy Stott — Stott is a player who you don’t feel like she does a ton of things but then you see the box score and you realize that she contributes in every single way. Stott is a player that is going to contribute on both ends and play hard at all times. She has the innate ability to get steals and turn that into points on the other end.
Clair Lauterbach — Lauterbach is a really interesting piece because she can do so much on the floor. She is a point-forward type player as she can play spots 1-3 with relative ease. She is tough to defend because of her length and the ability that she has to play defense is outstanding. As she gains more strength her game will start to really expand.
Ali Rood — Rood is a tough matchup problem on the floor because of her size. She is athletic enough to play on the perimeter but she has the strength needed to play in the post. Rood fits really well on the wing where she can take full advantage of the skillset that she provides. I really enjoyed seeing Rood compete this summer and she should play a huge factor for Mason City.
Taylor Mckinney — Fresh off of a really solid junior season, Mckinney impressed during the summer AAU season. She showed that she could score the ball all year long and it carried over into the AAU season. She can score the ball well at all three levels and really improved her outside shot. Mckinney is due for a big year for Webster City.
Riley Gilroy — Gilroy is a small lead guard who showed a great ability to shoot the ball this summer. She can get to the rim but she also draws defenders in and passes it to shooters really well. Gilroy is a quick guard who has shown the ability to make a difference on both ends of the floor. She is going to play a big part in the success of Bondurant-Farrar this season.
Emma Dighton —Dighton is one of the most intriguing players in the 2021 class. She has a physical frame and can play almost any spot on the floor with her strength. Dighton has a very nice feel for the game and also has the ability to get to the rim. She has a lot of potential within her game and once she taps into it her recruiting should take off.
Josie Fleischmann — Fleischmann was really solid all summer long. Starting in April she was impressive with her constant ability to shoot the ball at a high level. She has so much confidence in her ability to shoot the ball from the perimeter. Fleischmann has a really solid feel for the game and should have a really solid junior season in store.
Katie Currans — Currans had a very solid summer and has started to turn into quite the playmaker. She gained confidence in herself the entire summer and once she started to be more aggressive with the ball her game really took off. Currans plays with a really high motor and is a great teammate. She improved nearly every aspect of her game in AAU.
Amalea Friedl — Friedl is a small and fiesty guard who plays tough all the time. She is always in go mode trying to make plays on both ends of the floor. Friedl sees the floor really well allowing her to get the ball to her teammates in really good spots to score. Her ability to initiate the offense from the lead guard spot is key to her developing game.
Reagan Bartholomew — Bartholomew had a really nice summer and saw her stock raise as she continually was able to score the ball at a high level. I thought that she did all the little things really well that many don’t notice. Bartholomew is a really nice player who is going to impact Waukee this season. As she continues to grow, her game is only going to get better.
Emma Gipple — Gipple is a very nice prospect who is going to be an impactful player for Dowling Catholic over the next three years. She can shoot the ball really well and started to show the ability to get to the rim more and more this summer. She has a really solid feel for the game and could turn into one of the better shooters in the 2022 class.
Bridget Stover — Stover is a long and lengthy post player who was impressive this summer. Her ability to affect shots on the inside was key to her game. She also was able to score the ball on the inside at an impressive rate. I think that Stover had a really nice summer, improved her game, and is getting ready for an impact sophomore campaign.
Jena Young — Young was one of the most fun players to watch this summer and she hasn’t even hit high school yet. Young is wired to score the ball and has the ability to continually rise up and knock down the midrange jumper. Her ability to handle the ball in traffic is solid and with a little refinement, she could be among the top 2023 players in the state.
