I really appreciate all of the positive parent feedback we have gotten so far and we hope to deliver a show worthy of your time! Today, we will be looking at some of the top forwards in the event that you should watch out for!
Marisa Davis-Jones 6’1 2021 F Valley Vista
MDJ is our highest ranked player coming into the event, PGH 2021 Rankings. I expect her to perform as the highest ranked player should. She should dominate on the glass and get to the basket with ease. Expect her to due damage in transition due to her athleticism and speed.
Bridget Mullings 6’0 2021 F Bella Vista Prep
Mullings gobbles up any rebound near her! She led the state in rebounds per game last year and I wouldn’t be shocked if she put up the same numbers or improved on them. She is coming along offensively and I am really excited to see how her game has progressed.
Dyamond Butler-Worley 2020 F Shadow Mountain
DBW is one of the most versatile players in the event and in state. She can do a little bit of everything and has the size, speed, and athleticism to guard 1-5. Really excited to see what she has in her bag before the season starts!
Isabella DiGiovanni 6’0 2021 F Seton Catholic
I see DiGiovanni as a G/F but I think she’ll play more of the 3 or 4 in this event due to her team having a couple of really good guards. I think playing 3 or 4 really works out in her favor since she moves like a guard and has great scoring ability. I think she’ll be able to be a lot of 3/4’s off the line and get to the basket quick.
Liz Cruz 6’0 2020 F Casteel
Cruz is really good and really underrated in my opinion. She holds a few offers right now but I think she will get a couple more this season. I actually think she is due for a really big season. Cruz has a mid-range and has solid low post moves/footwork. Look out for Cruz!
