The term, under the radar, is not meant to be disrespectful in anyway. All of these players in outside of the top 10-20 players in their respective classes. However, I think that they have a very good shot of cracking into that group depending on how well they perform this Saturday. I will be keeping a very close eye on these prospects!
Annemarie Trojanovich 6’0 2021 F Seton Catholic
Big fan of Annemarie’s game. She has really good size and can shoot the mid-range super effectively. I am really excited to see if she can bring anything new to the table. She fits perfectly in her role as a spot up shooter but I want to see if she can demonstrate a little bit more versatility.
Brionna Smith 6’1 2021 F Leading Edge Academy & Sierra Mitchell 6’1 2022 F Peoria
I’ve sadly never seen either of these two girls play but their height is more than enough to grab my attention. I am not shocked that I haven’t heard of Smith this summer, just because she plays at a small school. Very shocked that I haven’t heard of Mitchell due to her being at a good sized school and she’s young! 6’1 as a 2021 and 2022 is definitely something to look into.
Devyn O’Brien 6’3 2021 F Basha
O’Brien recently transferred from Casteel to Basha and I am curious to see how she plays this event. She is just getting back from an injury, so hopefully she is 100%. I’ve heard that O’Brien likes to get physical and bang down low. That is definitely a quality you don’t see too often nowadays. O’Brien has great size and is the tallest prospect in the event, can’t wait to see how she performs.
