These were some of the top junior three-point shooters in the state last season who we expect to have even more success this year.
Kennedy Igo, George Rogers Clark – Igo is expected to be one of the top players in the state this season. She had an excellent junior season despite missing time with due to injury, She shot an outstanding 45.4% from three as a junior last season on 5 attempts per game. It will be exciting to see what she does with a full senior season.
Kendall Wingler, Meade County – Wingler attempted almost 8 three-pointers a game last season and shot a strong 37.7%, justifying the large volume of attempts with good efficiency. She showed the ability to shoot off the dribble as well, giving her great skills from beyond the arc.
Gena Cravens, Casey County – Cravens tops this list in volume, attempting 8.6 three’s per game in her junior year. She has shown the ability to knock down deep three’s, and the fearlessness to take them. The 34.8% she shot is not as high as others on this list but combined with her volume it still makes her a top three-point shooter.
Emilee Hope, Henderson County – Hope shot 42.5% on 6.4 attempts per game throughout her junior season. A great spot-up shooter, she has the ability to find her spot and get open, especially in transition, which combines with her shooting ability to make her a dangerous threat.
Lexie Meyers, Leslie County – Meyers is one of the most proven shooters returning this season. While averaging 23.8 points, she made 3.8 three-pointers per game last season, the most of any returning player. The 38.1% she shot makes the volume all the more impressive and cements her spot on this list.
