Every single team that I have watched these ladies play on, whether with their high school teams or summer teams, they rarely are out of the game. Of course foul trouble may lead them to sit but even then the risk of them not being on the court is greater.
Do not underestimate the ability of these girls to dominate in the game, especially since they are constantly on the floor. Many times, these players are involved in majority of the play because they flat out know how to play basketball. For example, these are the girls likely to get that touch for the teammate to get a steal, or rotate in help to force a travel, set the screen to get teammate and self open. Check below for a few featured players that are some glue girls for each team they play on!
Morgan Kennedy, Classen SAS HS
C/O 2020, 5’11, Combo Guard
High IQ of the game on both ends of the floor. She makes up the difference of where many other players may lack such as help rotations, blocking out, creating space for others, etc. In addition, she is consistent to knock down any shot on the perimeter but handles the ball well and sees the floor so well that she always makes the best basketball play.
Jada Hytche, Broken Arrow HS
C/O 2021, 5’8, Point Guard
Will get the needed jobs done. Consistent in her game with proper defensive mechanics to draw charges, being help position and guarding the passing lanes. I also appreciate her ability of keeping her head up each time she dribbles which adds to her court vision. Very unselfish play but has a some wiggle in her game to get lay ups to the basket.
Nykale Cramer, Millwood HS
C/O 2021, 5’11, Guard/Forward
Excels in many aspects of the game, her absences is often easily felt when she is not the game. She can defend multiple positions on the floor as well as rebound. In addition, she executes smart decisions with the ball in her hands and does not force her shot within the offense.
