Asia Broughton
Asia Broughton-6’O F- Cy Fair Elite 16U EYBL (Cy Ridge HS) she plays hard, very hard but she always did and when your mom was a D1 coach and you’ve been around the game for, well forever, certain things should stand out and her work ethic is definitely one of them. She’s gone from a back to the basket player to one that can handle the ball the length of the court after rebounding and when she attacks, she does so relentlessly. She’s also facing the basket for buckets
Favour Ebonka 6’2 P- Houston Dream Blue (Pearland HS) strong body, agile around the rim and she finishes well. Also ran the floor, defended in the paint and rebounds on both ends. What I really like is her potential because with her frame, she could create some problems
Zaria Rufus-6’1 PF- Lady Drive Nation 16U EYBL ( Duncanville HS) if I write BEAST down in caps, that’s all I need because everything comes back to me. She battles after everything whether it’s in the paint for loose balls or diving on the floor and , or, in the stands. Defends well and can score multiple ways
Christeen Iwuala 6’3 PF SA Finest Cee Lou (Ronald Reagan HS) 75 inches of power as she takes up space in the paint nicely. Does a good job of rebounding, on both ends and reacts well on defense, even showed she could step out and defend. Having size and power combined with upside is always good
Asjha Leake 6’2 PF- SA Finest Dungee (Steele HS) another player that showed me many good qualities to go along with her size but also showed she is nowhere near the finished product. She rebounds, runs the floor and finishes, with contact plus she showed a great work ethic that told me even more is coming
Akasha Davis 6’1 PF- Urban Heroes-DJ (Wylie East HS) atheistic and gets to the rim easily but the heat she brings on defense as well as not the fact that she finishes but how she finishes means so many things like she could be on the verge of exploding
