Continue ReadingAs we look ahead to the 2019-2020 season we crunched some numbers to find the most efficient, returning assist leaders by looking at total assists and ratio of assists-to-turnovers according to MaxPreps. Players were selected using the following criteria:
- Played in 20 or more games;
- Dished out 50 or more assists;
- Averaged 2.5 assists per game; and
- Had a assist-to-turnover ratio of 1.4 or greater.
Many players had greater than a 1.4 ratio but averaged under 2.5 assists per game. Of those with a ratio just above 1.4 only players with a substantial number of assists were included. Players are listed by class, then by assists-to-turnover ratio.
