Today, we’ll be covering the middle tier prospects in 2020 and 2021. These prospects are mid-major locks with the potential to go higher.
Kam Rhodes 5’6 2022 G Sabino
Rhodes has a ton of offers from schools that I would consider as mid-major. I think that’s her most suitable level of play. She is more than skilled enough to play at any level but I think her size will restrict her a bit. I think she’d be a very good mid-major guard. I’d definitely check her out this year, you’ll most definitely be impressed by her play.
Trayanna Crisp 5’8 2022 G Millennium
Crisp has offers but I am unsure about which programs they are. I think mid-major could be a good fit for her at this point but I wouldn’t be surprised if she eventually went to a higher level, especially do to her size. She has good height and size and she’s only a sophomore. She is very strong and athletic so I know she can hang at that level physically.
Jaida Brooks 5’7 2022 G Desert Vista
Brooks has some of the tightest handles I’ve seen in a guard. Take into account that she is still young and has time to improve. I could easily see her going mid-major and even higher. She has crazy handles and can get past nearly any defender. She has solid play making ability and a decent jumper. As she improves on her shooting ability, she will get more looks.
Sienna Cherwinski 5’4 2023 G Xavier
It’s hard to project where these incoming freshman will eventually land, as it is super early in their high school career’s. However, if Cherwinski keeps up her level of play, I think she could easily go mid-major. I’m sure she’ll only get better over the next four years since she’s still super young. She has a ton of time to develop.
