None of this absolutely means anything because anything can happen. Heaven forbid a key player gets injured, that has happened numerous times, and the bottom line is that anything can happen in a one game playoff. Also note, the thoughts and views in this article are mine and mine along but I’m usually right but then again, the game is played on the court
Rori Harmon & Kyndall HunterOn paper, Cy Creek gets the nod because they have one of the best back-courts in the country, Kyndall Hunter and Rori Harmon, the #2 and #3 players in the 2021 class in Texas and among the Top 10 on national lists, I’m guessing on that but they should be so the hashtag #BCSLocks, something I said they would be prior to middle school ball just simply elevates them by that in itself because they can score a combined 40 plus with the blink of an eye. How about 6’1 Morgan Hill, one of the Texas Top 100 players in the 2020 class, she’s a #D1Lock and then you have a much improved Taylor Jackson, just upgraded in the 2021 group as well as incoming freshman Grace Santasiero as well as transfer Haleen Harris
Adoara Nwokedi & Mailyn WilkersonSummer Creek probably has more depth which is going to come in handy because everyone on the starting 5 can shoot the three ball and then you have athleticism galore, not only in that starting group but off the bench as well. Mailyn Wilkerson has been dropping the long ball for as long as I remember seeing her play, she and 6’2 Maliyah Johnson are among the Texas Top 100 group for 2020. Adoara Nwokedi was just upgraded on the 2021 list, Alayia Francis and transfer Hillary Broussard round out that long ball shooting starting five but they also bring heat on defense and that press will only get stronger. Malikiya Thomas put on a defensive show to close out the Fall Showcase, her highlight blocks and layups were worth of The Gram but if it doesn’t boil down to these two,
