suffered through one of the most tragic days in the history of the country. There were 2996 lives lost and over 6000 additional people that were injured. Those totals would have been much higher if not for the heroes of that day. First responders put themselves in the face of danger, just so that others could get away from it. Everyday people did extraordinary things so that friends, family, and even strangers, could survive. On a day like today, 18 years to the date in the future, it’s important for us to celebrate the heroes of the future.

High school basketball in Michigan is filled with amazing young people that are destined for incredible things. In one way or another, some will become heroes. Here are 4 high school basketball players that I believe are future heroes:
