Within these recaps I will be listing out the roster that played together the most throughout the season. If a player switched teams midseason I will place them on the roster I felt like they were on the most. Over the next month I will be pushing these articles out once a day until I run out of teams. These stories will be in alphabetical order by program so All Iowa Attack is up first, followed by Beyond Ball, and so on. Up next in the series is the CY Select high school group.

Ending Thoughts
Cassidy Thompson — Thompson is a super intriguing player who really improved as the year went on. She is a thin but super mobile post player who has been working on pushing it out toward the perimeter. A ton of upside as she fills out and gains strength. Thompson is a key interior defender for her high school team.
Hayley Chappell — Chappell looked really solid this pst winter but hit another gear this summer. Really solid on-ball defender who knows the game really well and can really create havoc in the half-court. Love the motor that she plays with at all times on the floor.
Abi Zimmer — Zimmer is a player that you see and just really enjoy watching her play. She’s a solidly built point guard and made better decisions with the ball as we continued into the summer. She is going to have a big role this year for North Polk and I think she is going to handle it well.
Madielynn Mueller — Mueller plays with a flair to her game and is starting to really show me that she’s an under-the-radar type of player in the state. Good competitor with some juice to her game. She really made some nice strides this summer and is firmly on the radar for players to watch this winter.
Abbie Schany — Not many people around the state likely know Schany, but they will after this upcoming high school season. She was able to showcase her ability to score it at all three levels and made a huge jump from last winter. A drive to compete on both ends makes Schany a really solid prospect.
Kadence Williams — Williams really caught my attention as the summer progressed. She’s a very good on-ball defender with the ability to take the ball and push it up the court after forcing a turnover. Could stand to get a little quicker and once she does, watch out.
Tatum Grubbs — Admittedly, I did not see Exira-EHK play this past winter but after watching Grubbs this summer I am definitely going to seek them out this high school season. Grubbs is a dynamic guard with a really good motor and ability to space the floor. Could be a really nice steal for a college.
Meg Reitz — Reitz saw her stock EXPLODE this summer. Every time I saw her she looked better and more comfortable on the floor. A point-forward type, Reitz is really a no nonsense type of player. Her length allows her to dominate on both ends of the floor and she’s starting to creep up toward that upper tier of prospects.
Macy Emgarten — Like Grubbs, Emgarten made me really wish that I was able to see their high school team. She generates a really nice one-two punch down low with the fellow post players. Love her versatility and ability to stretch out the defense and blow by them. Among one of the best post prospects in the class.
Kaityn Tendal — Tendal was really impressive this summer when I was able to see her. She was able to show some really nice moves with the ball showcasing her agility as well as getting to her shot when she wanted to do so. Love the aggression that she was showing all summer long.
Jayden Nitchals — I wish I would have gotten an extended look at Nitchals this summer more than the 2-3 times I saw her because she was so impressive each time. I thought that almost every single time she touched the ball she was going to score it. Going to be a big threat over the next couple years.
