NCAA Division II Washburn University picked up a pair of commitments, Austin Broadie and Andrea Sweat.
Broadie, a 6’1″ forward from Trinity Academy High School, announced in August that she has committed to Washburn to play basketball and volleyball. Broadie played for Wheat State Elite this past summer and is currently ranked #21 in the 2021 class.
Sweat, a 6’1″ wing/forward from McPherson High School, announced her commitment in September. Sweat played for Wheat State Elite this past summer and is currently ranked #55 in the 2020 class.
Kaydn Cobb, a 5’8″ combo guard from Salina Central High School, also committed in September. She will join NCAA Division II Missouri Western State University. Cobb played with Wheat State Elite this past summer and is currently unranked heading into the 2020 season.
Emma Cunningham, a 6’1″ forward from Andover High School, announced in August that she has committed to NAIA Division I Baker University. Cunningham played with Next Level Eclipse this past summer and is currently ranked #37 in the 2020 class.
Caely “CK” Keston, a 5’8″ point guard from Lawrence Free State High School, announced in August that she has committed to NCAA Division II Northwest Missouri State University. Keston played with Lady Prospects this past summer and is currently ranked #34 in the 2020 class.
Gabrielle “Gabbie” Martinez, a 5’5″ point guard from Manhattan High School, announced in September that she has committed to NJCAA Division I Cowley Community College. Martinez played with Ohlde Elite this past summer and is currently ranked #84 in the 2020 class.
Katie Wagner, a 5’11” forward/power forward from Maize High School, announced in July that she has committed to NCAA Division II Fort Hays State University. Wagner played for Ohlde Elite this past summer and is currently ranked #8 in the 2020 class.
