Kentucky Elite 80: Top Prospects
This Sunday, 80 of the state’s best high schoolers and 80 of the top middle schoolers will make their way to South Laurel High School for the first ever Elite 80 event. Recently allowed in Kentucky due to a change in KHSAA rules, the showcase is loaded with D1 talent and should make for some high level games. Here’s a look at some of the top prospects in the event.
Presley Partin, Knox County Central – Our 12th ranked Junior, Partin is one of the best scorers in the event.
Allie Stone, West Carter – Soon to be ranked in our 2022 rankings, Stone will be gunning for a high ranking on Sunday.
Gracie Jervis, North Laurel – One of the reasons that North Laurel won the 13th last season, Jervis could get some offers after Sunday.
Abby West, Grant County – One of the best in the 8th region, Abby will be looking to add to her scholarship list.
Kennedy Harris, Southwestern – One of the best players in the 12th, Harris is continuing to add offers.
Kaeli Ross, Russell – One of the more under the radar Juniors, Ross is coming Sunday in hopes of adding to her scholarship list.
Sydnie Hall, South Laurel – Sydnie may be the best shooter in the event, she has offers from Pikeville and Lindsey Wilson, among others.
Whitney Caldwell, Pineville – Caldwell is highly ranked in our 2021 rankings and will hope to move up with a big day on Sunday.
Olivia Federle, Collins – Federle slipped in our last ranking update but can move right back up on Sunday.
Hayley Caudill, Hazard – Another highly ranked 2021, Caudill may be the best passer in the Junior class.
Alyssa Elswick, Shelby Valley – Just a Sophomore, Elswick is a double-double machine who could leave London with multiple offers.
Dayja Evans, Pleasure Ridge Park – One of the few Seniors at the event, Evans will have a chance to show her scoring ability all day Sunday.
