ND 2020 Top 20
- Lauren Ware– The #1 Ranked player in the Dakotas and top 35 nationally. Ware is a special talent. She combines strength, speed, power and skills. Recently she committed to play basketball and volleyball at the University of Arizona. Ware had power 5 offers from coast to coast for both sports.
- Reile Payne– You’re most likely not going to see a more determined player. Payne can effect the game on both ends of the floor. Very capable of having a 20/10 type of year.
- Cade Ryckman– The University of Mary is cleaning up in the class of 2020. Ryckman is a solid pick up for Marauders. She can defend at a high level and is capable of filling up every stat line.
- Lakyn Darras– Another U of Mary commit, Darras play on both ends. At 10ppg and 8rpg last year, we can expect those number to creep up into the 15/10 conversation.
- Allie Nelson– Minot leading scorer returns for some unfinished business. She kept them in plenty of games last year. This time around she may need to take more of the scoring load.
- Kaity Hove– One of the best passers in the state. Hove can easily go for 10, 11 or 12 assist a game. Not to mention she’s already surpassed the 1,000 point plateau.
- Jessica Mertens– Jess is a nice slashing wing. She has really good lateral movement. Very underrated scorer because it seems her points come of hustle plays.
- Kameron Selvig– The Blue Jays leading scorer and three-point shooter is coming of a solid summer. She helped the Blue Jays finish two games above .500. Hopefully her improvements carry over from the summer and transitions right into the high school season.
- Jordyn Kahler– During the AAU season Kahler play for North Tarten. She is coming off a terrific summer and is gearing up to keep Wahpeton competitive.
- Maria Mann– Mann averaged a little over 12 points last year for Saint Mary’s. The 5’11 forward has plenty of upside and in her last season with Saint Mary’s, she is up for the challenge.
- Abby Magnuson– The forward from Hillsboro/Central Valley had a great summer. She showed she can play with just about anyone. Her ND Pro Hutter squad competed against some of the best talent in the region. Magnuson was for sure a load to handle.
- Aubrey Rodakowski– Very reliable interior post, nice moves and can run the floor well. Very high skill set.
- Brooklyn Douglas– One of the leading scorers for Williston, Douglas was apart of a three-headed offensive attack.
- Makia Remus– Remus was the other member of the three-headed attack of Williston. Now that they are a duo, Remus will have to take on more of a load.
- McKenna Becher– Vastly improved her outside shooting and began to defend the perimeter better. One of the better most improved players.
- Kiera Eli– Eli has an array of scoring options. Three’s from deep, floaters and much much more in her bag!
- Taylor Dean– Another good shooter. Dean isn’t afraid to stick her nose in the lane. Very assertive.
- Shelby Frank– An All-Conference player last year, Franks can be a force. Even if her #1 sport isn’t basketball, cough cough “Track & Field,” She can really affect the game.
- Brianna Hutter– Being the daughter of a basketball coach you learn the game much quicker than others. Hence the natural point guard skills. Small in stature but big with heart.
- Abigail Kopp– AK is another one of those smart PGs. But more like the new age PGs. The type that can score and then run the team.
