Many of them have already made a name for themselves after a strong freshman season, while others have entered the scene with a solid club season this past summer.
Here is a look at some more of the Top 25 kids in the Class of 2022:
Alexia Mobley (Whitehall-Yearling)- this player is so long and athletic, the sky is the limit for her talents. Very effective on the boards as she alters shots, and is very good on the boards. Runs the floor extremely well, can finish on the break with either hand. Is a mismatch nightmare, because not only can she score at the rim, she also has great range from the perimeter. Excellent footwork around the basket.
Kyla Oldacre (Princeton)- at 6’4″, she is an imposing force in the paint, can finish around the rim, and rebounds well. Makes good decisions with the ball, and will find her open teammate for a better shot. Her game continues to improve as she matures on the court. Good passer and strong presence.
Faith Stinson (Sheridan)- whats not to like about this kids game? A very good power forward who does a great job at both ends of the floor. Can seal her defender and score, good around the basket with either hand, and a very proficient rebounder. Steps out to the perimeter and become a big mismatch problem. Good shot blocker.
Tandra Smoot (Princeton)- is a combo guard that is best suited at the shooting guard position but can handle situational point guard duties. At 5’2″ Tandra (pictured above) is very tough for her size. Very high energy, and offensively aggressive, she can get to the rim. shoot mid range, 3 pointers and stop and pop in transition. This skill set makes her a tough assignment on the defensive end of the floor.
