New Offers:
One of our Top 5 in 2021, Harley Paynter added a new offer from Akron over the weekend. Paynter continues to add offers at the mid major level and interest at the high major level.
PRP Senior Mariah Jones was offered by West Virginia State when she visited last week.
Another PRP Senior, Dayja Evans, was offered by both Southeastern Illinois and Lincoln Land College last week. Evans has steadily been adding offers over the last several months.
Centre College offered Bullitt East Senior Madison Thornton. Centre is one of the best D3 schools around and home to one of the best educations in the south.
Scott County Senior Malea Williams added her newest offer from Western Kentucky this past week. WKU already has a commitment from South Laurel’s Ally Collett and is looking to add another in state player to the class.
Ryle is home to multiple D1 prospects and Brie Crittendon added to her offer sheet last week with an offer from Bellarmine. Bellarmine is making the transition to D1 next season and Brie can be a part of that move. Earlier this month Brie added an offer from Austin Peay as well.
Junior Whitney Caldwell of Pineville was offered by the University of the Cumberlands while she was on a visit last week. Caldwell is among the best Juniors in the state.
Union College offered Senior Abby West of Grant County. Abby has had a great couple of months and continues to add interest from colleges at all levels.
Eastern Kentucky offered Top 3 2021 Macey Blevins last week. Macey continues adding to her offer list and I won’t be surprised to see high major schools on that offer list by this time next year.
A couple of weeks back, Logan County’s Paige Vanzant picked up an offer from Kentucky Christian University. She also added an offer from Sewanee last week.
Commitments:
Morgan Blakely of Harlan County committed to Union College to play basketball and be part of the track and field program at the school.
Mercer County Senior Ariyana Rhodes committed to IU-East last week. Rhodes has missed two seasons due to injury and transfer rules. She’s anxious to get on the court for the Titans before joining the Red Wolves next season.
Rhodes will be joined at IU-East by Bullitt East Senior Kennedy Griffin. Griffin pulled the trigger on her commitment to the Red Wolves last week.
