Samary Curry 5’8 2021 G/F AZ Elite
I love Curry’s game. She has great size, good ball handling, and attacks the basket. I think she is very good defensively and has really long arms that allow her to turn away shots. She’s a bit of an in-betweener of a guard or a forward. Ideally, you’d play her at the 2 or 3 in college (depending on what level she goes to).
Jamie Gillian 5’10 2021 F AZ Elite
I can definitely see some improvement from the first time seeing Gillian play until now. Overall, I think she is playing a lot more confidently. Her footwork in the post looks much improved and just overall…she looks like a better prospect than she did a month ago. It’s rare to see such a quick turn around in a prospect but I’ll definitely keep my eye on her going in the season.
Annemarie Trojanovich 5’10 2021 F AZ Elite
I see a ton of potential in Annemarie and I think she’ll have a big impact on Seton’s success this year. She’s got good size for the 4 spot and can really shoot the mid-range. She is the ideal stretch four for the high school game.
Gabrielle Schwartz 6’0 2021 F AZ Swish
Schwartz is the ultimate utility/team player. I love watching her play. She just does all of the things no one else wants to do and isn’t afraid of getting in the mix and getting her hands dirty. Schwartz doesn’t do anything that will wow you but she does everything well.
Dustee Murrell 5’10 2020 G/F Gladiators
Murrell played well when I saw her play. She did her usual stuff. She is a really solid scorer. In game one, she had 10 and in game two, she had 14. Murrell is a very gifted shooter and has the frame to get to the basket and draw fouls. She just needs more ball handling skills to become a complete prospect.
Mariam Traore 6’3 2021 F Aim High
Mariam is quickly developing into quite the intriguing prospect. Standing at 6’3, she is likely to catch any college coaches eye when she enters the gym. When I first saw Traore play, she looked a little out of control and her post footwork needed help. This weekend, I was very pleasantly surprised to see improvement in her game, especially her post footwork. I’ll be sure to continue watching Traore develop.
