First Team
Ndjakalenga Mwenentanda of All Iowa Attack EYBL. Ndjakalenga did nothing but win all summer long. She helped lead her squad to all three EYBL championships, including a National Championship at Nike Nationals. Crowning them the best 16U team in the country
Lexi Plitzuweit of SD Attack. Very smart and crafty with the rock. Not the fastest player on the court but knows how to use the angles to get in and out of space. Very good shooter.
Lindsey Hein of ECI Drillers. The 6’6 post hails from Montana but crosses the border to play for North Dakota’s ECI program. Hein was probably the best post in her class all summer. Very consistent, really effective and productive. Super long figure but not a stiff. Can move laterally on defense, positioning herself for blocks.
Alayna Benike of Pentagon Schoolers-Schlekeway. Benike continued right where she left off from her high school season. The All-State member improved her stock as the season progressed. Her coaches allowed her to play in different positions and in different types of spacing.
Melanie Jacobs of SD Network. Jacobs is a true point guard. She is very patient when running the offense. Shoots the 3 at a high rate. Never really gets overwhelmed with the competition, very even-kill
2nd Team
Logan Nissley of ECI Drillers. Hard to believe that Nissley will only be a freshmen. She played two grade up all summer and was arguably the second best player on her team. She has great finishing ability, nice scoop layups, same leg same hand types of finishing. Great handle and super tough.
Izzy Moore of SD Attack. Moore had a really good summer. You can tell she has really worked on her game. A few college noticed the same thing. She pick up an offer from University of Sioux Falls
Sydney Lloyd of ND Pro Anderson. A very versatile player able who is able to post up, play on the wing and guard all 5 positions. Rebounded the ball well. Really athletic and was able to hold her own against much taller competition.
Cassidy Siemonsma of SD Attack. Siemonsma is not just a low post presence. She was more like a stretch four. She has the ability to shoot from the outside. Which caused mix-match problems. Most fours and fives didn’t seem to guard her on the perimeter, which more than likely was in her favor.
Olivia Ritter of Pentagon Schoolers-Schlekeway. Ritter had an impressive summer campaign. She not only scored the ball better this season but really focused on being a team leader.
3rd Team
Ashton Kinnebrew of ECI Drillers. Great defensive awareness. Every time she was in the game, she effected it defensively. Offensively can slash across the lane.
Kara Niles of Pentagon Schoolers-Schlekeway. Niles was one of those players that play up a grade. Not to fill up a roster but to actually contribute and make herself a presence.
Liz Olson of SD Attack. Olson was very solid down low. She has a good strong base and takes on contact well.
Moriku Hakim of ND Pro Anderson. Great size, plays with tons of energy, athletic post
Haligh Timmer of North Tarten. Timmer is a special talent. She can fill it up with the best of them. Really good outside shooting, can drive the line and finish through contact. She’s a do-it-all type of player.
Honorable Mention
Carlee Sieben of ND Pro Anderson
Emma Jarovski of SD Attack
Samatha Zimmerman of ND Pro Anderson.
Abbigail Kubas of ND Attack Green
Samantha Oase of ND Attack Green
Kylee Wadsworth of SD Attack
Grace Gerken of SD Network
