Today, we will go over the new top 5 forwards from each class! Some classes will see significant changes, while some will see very little movement at the top.
#1 Kennedy Basham 6’6 2022 F Pinnacle
Could there be anybody else? Basham will likely be the best forward in the class for the rest of her time in high school. She has so much size and potential. She’s starting to put it together piece by piece, as all young prospects do. Once she puts it all together, it’s a wrap.
#2 Talia Dial 5’9 2022 G/F Dysart
Talia is a forward who can push the ball up like a guard and I love that. She has a really good frame/body type and is very strong. I think she will be an excellent 3 prospect at the next level. I am very excited to see how much more she can add to her game throughout the years.
#3 Kadie Healy 5’10 2022 G/F Sabino
I absolutely love this girl’s game. She doesn’t do anything fancy or flashy and honestly won’t stick out to the average viewer. However, what she does on the court will get the attention of anyone who knows the game of basketball. She is a grinder and an absolute work horse. She makes all the right plays and isn’t afraid to get dirty and get the job done.
#4 Sierra Mitchell 6’1 2022 F Peoria
Mitchell has a lot of potential and I really hope it comes together sooner rather than later. She has really good size and is pretty athletic. She finds herself lower on the list due to a need for more skill work/post work. Once she adds that to her game, she could easily rise in the rankings.
#5 Tianna Reeder 5’10 2022 F Estrella Foothills
I think Reeder has some potential to be a solid prospect. I was really impressed by the work she put in her freshman season. She averaged 13 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 steals per game. She shot 40% from the field, which is respectable. She could use some work on her jumper, shooting 20% from deep and 50% from FT. Hoping she sees a jump in those numbers and in turn she will see a huge jump in her stat line.
