These lady’s have been able to capitalize on the inside and be the most dominant. Each player on this can also step outside and knock down shots when needed.
Raegan Beers, 2022, 6’2″, Valor Christian
Last year Raegan Beers averaged a double double for Valor Christian. She averaged 18.9 points per game with a field goal percentage of 64. She also averaged 12.2 rebounds per game. Her ability to great foot work skills in the post allows her to gain an advantage over the defender. It will be exciting to see what she will do to help her team as she will be a year more experienced.
Addison O’Grady, 2021, 6’3″, Grandview
She is ranked No. 38 in Espn HoopGurlz and proves that she deserves to be ranked in the nation. Really unselfish player that loves to get her teammates involved often. She can step out and knocked the 3 pointer if she needs to, and is strong in the post. She can fill up the stat sheet in rebounds, steals, points, and assist. Young and ambitious, O’Grady will look to help lead Grandview to a deep run in the playoffs this year.
Cali Clark , 2020, 6’3″, Cherry Creek
Very strong and physical in the post, she gets to where she wants to be early and often. She is a competitor who never backs down to a challenge, and a player who loves to help her team win games through her relentless effort on both ends of the floor. One of the top players in Colorado for rebounds and block shots. Last year she was the 2nd leader for points her team (14.7) behind Jana VanGytenbeek (18.1) who is one of top players in the nation. Clark can knock down shots from mid-range to the 3 point line. Recently committed to Colorado State University.
Courtney Wristen, 2021, 6’2″, Broomfield
Last year as a sophomore Wristen averaged 12.4 points per game for Broomfield. She shows great athleticism, and excellent foot work in the post. She has ability to dribble in transition and attacking the basket off the dribble. Great length, and can play her in the post or outside the post. Broomfield has a player that will help her team contend against some of the top teams in Colorado, and could make a deep run in playoffs.
Lauren Betts, 2022, 6’7″, Grandview
There is no question about Betts height which gives her advantage over any team that she faces. She was a freshman last year and had a great touch around the rim. She is ranked No. 1 in the nation in her class with ESPN Top 100 HoopGurlz. The sky is high for this player both ends of the floor as she continue to develop. She also played for USA U16 who went on to win the Gold medal over the summer.
