Top Tournaments

Battle in H-Town – Houston, Texas
Super 64 – Frisco, Texas
ASGR National Championships – Atlanta, GA
Individual Standouts
Serin Dunne, 2020, 5-7, G, Mesa Ridge HS
Already with offers from San Diego State, Northern Colorado and Texas State, Dunne has been garnering plenty of Division-I interest since the most recent live period ending in July. One of the best long-range shooters in Colorado, Dunne hit 42 percent (59 for 139) of her 3-point attempts in 2018-19 and led Mesa Ridge with 20.6 points a game last winter. As a junior, she also averaged 4.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.3 steals per game, and pretty much continued that throughout the entire summer season with the Hawks.
Seairra Hughes, 2020, 6-0, SF, Vista PEAK HS
As recently as September, Hughes was the leading scorer of the Mountain Hoops/Basketball Colorado Fall Showcase. With Interest from the University of Incarnate Word and Iowa Western Community College (offer), Hughes is getting a lot attention and will be playing on the next level somewhere. One of the fastest stock risers in Colorado, Hughes had a strong high school season (9.7 ppg, 9.6 rpg, 3.1 apg, 2.3 spg) last winter despite playing in the shadow of her older sister Denali Hughes. After really breaking out this summer, expect a huge season in ’19-20 from this under-the-radar versatile senior.
D’nae Wilson, 2020, 5-3, PG, Sierra HS
This high-IQ point guard hit the summer campaign as a Class 4A second-team all state player and is as tough as they come. A gritty defender, Wilson averaged 16.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.5 steals per game as a junior at Sierra last winter.
Maya Whiteside, 2021, 6-0, G, George Washington HS
The fourth-highest scoring sophomore in Colorado’s 4A classification last winter, Whiteside had an outstanding summer with the Hawks. This high-potential guard/forward combo player is drawing plenty of interest at the next level including Nevada-Reno, Air Force and Colorado State-Pueblo after averaging 16 points a game for George Washington last winter.
Faith Buckley, 2020, 6-3, F, Grand Junction
At 6-foot-3, Buckley might just be the Hawks’ most intriguing player. This lengthy forward from the Western Slope runs the floor, rebounds and blocks shots. Her activity in the paint has spark a lot of interest and Buckley has been talking to schools from the Division I level to JUCO.
