In the Spotlight:
Avery Zeinstra (2022)
As a Freshman, Avery Zeinstra dominated the court. Zeinstra (point guard) was #1 in the state for her 3-point percentage (49%). The Byron Center girls basketball program has a bright future with Zeinstra on the court. She continues her training in the off season with West Michigan Drive. Zeinstra earned “Player of the Week” and was First Team All-Conference.
Kaylee Bakker (2020)
Kaylee Bakker is headed into her senior year at Zeeland West. Bakker has already committed to Grand Valley State University in her sophomore year. This 6’1 forward was First Team All-Conference last season.
AJ Ediger (2021)
6’2 forward, AJ Ediger averaged 20.5 points and 9.8 rebounds per game last season for Hamilton High School. Ediger was a member of the Grand Rapids Press Dream Team. Ediger has received offers from 4 different D1 programs , however, she has committed to the University of Iowa.

Faith Mulder (2020)
Faith Mulder is a point guard from Holland Christian. Mulder was First Team All-Conference
Sierra Schrotenboer (2021)
Sierra Schrotenboer is a 5’10 forward from Hamilton. Schrotenboer was an Honorable Mention All-Conference in 2019.
Cierra Laska (2022)
Cierra Laska is a 5’6 point guard from Byron Center. Laska was an Honorable Mention All-Conference as a Freshman.
