In the Spotlight:
Theryn Hallock (2022)
Sophomore, Theryn Hallock, is the daughter of Ty Hallock, the former Tight End for the Detroit Lions. Theryn is following in the footsteps of her 2 brothers by already receiving D1 offers from Loyola University of Chicago and Central Michigan University. Theryn also received offers from Grand Valley State University and Western Michigan University. As a 5’8 guard, Theryn averages 13.2 points, 3.7 steals, and 2.7 rebounds per game for Forest Hills Central. To further her training, Theryn also plays AAU for Michigan Basketball Academy.
Remmie Ingraham (2022)
Remmie Ingraham is the heartbeat of the Forest Hills Central basketball team. Ingraham is known for her ability to lead others. As a freshman, Ingraham was the “Unsung Hero” according to The Central Trend. A great team needs a player like Ingraham; advantageous, courageous, dedicated, and hardworking. Ingraham also plays AAU for Michigan Basketball Academy.
Honorable Mentions:
Morgan Robertson (2021)
Morgan Robertson is the epitome of a “student-athlete.” Robertson is a junior at Forest Hills Northern where she has earned a 4.0 GPA in her Chinese immersion program. She also plays a vital role in the student government. Robertson was an Honorable Mention All-Conference last season and a Meijer Scholar Athlete.
Jenna Caterino (2021)
Junior, Jenna Caterino has been considered a leader on the floor for the Greenville Yellow Jackets. Caterino, 5’7 small forward, was an Honorable Mention All-Conference last season.
