Riley Makalusky Riley Makalusky 6'2" | SF Hamilton Southeastern | 2023 State IN – 2023 – SF 5’11 – Hamilton Southeastern
Makalusky was all over the glass on both sides of the floor. She did a great job of using her length to box out and get around her opponents for rebounds. Makalusky’s work on the glass rewarded her on the stat sheet as she had a ton of points off putbacks. She has the potential to be a high scoring double-double averaging player.
Pa’Shence Walker Pa’Shence Walker 5'8" | SG Martinsville | 2021 State IN – 2021 – 5’9 SF – Martinsville
Walker’s work on the defensive glass was an essential part of her team’s success. Her ability to make a deep outlet pass to a teammate or take the ball down the floor herself following a rebound is a huge asset to her game. Walker’s effort on the glass rewarded her with a ton of great opportunities.
Tenleigh Phelps Tenleigh Phelps 5'10" | PF Triton Central | 2021 State IN – 2021 – 5’10 PF – Triton Central
Phelps did a great job of using her athleticism and size to rebound. She had several nice moves to get around her defender to snatch the rebound and get a putback bucket Phelps crashed the glass hard on the defensive end. She secured rebounds quickly and got the ball out to her teammates to run in transition.
Bridget Dunn Bridget Dunn 6'3" | PF Carmel | 2021 State IN – 2021 – 6’2 PF – Carmel
Dunn dominated every aspect of the game and her rebounding was no different. She was a nightmare for her opponents on the glass, getting her hands on just about anything she wanted. She had several putbacks scores off offensive rebounds. Dunn’s ability to grab a rebound and run the floor and finish was impressive.
Sydney Little Sydney Little 5'8" | SF Penn | 2022 State IN – 2022 – 5’8 SF – Penn
Little is one of those players who is willing to do whatever it takes for her team to win. She proved it with her effort on the glass. Her effort stood out right away, along with her ability to use her athleticism to crash the glass. She pulled down several impressive offensive rebounds and she was a workhorse on the defensive glass.
Haley Thomas Haley Thomas 6'1" | C West Lafayette Harrison | 2022 State IN – 2022 – 6’0 C – West Lafayette Harrison
Thomas’s size made defensive rebounding pretty easy for her. When Thomas gave her full effort on the glass she was dominant. She had several nice offensive rebounds followed by putback buckets. Thomas has a chance to be a scoring option who can average a double-double potentially.
Lexi Humbert – 2020 – 5’7 F – Wapahani
Humbert’s effort on the glass caught my eye immediately. She almost always boxed out her opponent defensively and did a great job of securing the rebound and finding a teammate. On the offensive side, Humbert worked hard to get several rebounds for cleanup buckets.
