Over the course of the high school season, our coverage on the 2023 class is really going to amp up. There is a lot of talent to go around in Washington's freshman class with a mixture of strong guard, wing and post play. The one thing that stands out in particular with this class is the athleticism. One of the best athletes in the class in none other than Nikole Thomas. Nikole is a 5'9 lefty guard with legitimate speed and jumping ability that will translate to the next level. She is years away from putting it all together, but some Division 1 schools have already begun to take notice of her potential. I recently caught up with Nikole to talk about her upcoming first high school season, her recruitment process and what she is looking for in a college.

"My preseason is going well. I am working on speed and agility, shot mechanics, off-hand ball handling and passing, and tons of cardio."
