We had our first two scrimmage games of the year at The PHHacility, as apart of the JUCO Jamboree. Conveniently, SWS’s Rising Stars event immediately followed the end of the Jamboree so I had to stay and check out the talent! Here are the Top Performers from the event:
Lexi McNabb 5’5 2022 G Seton Catholic
McNabb looked really aggressive this weekend. This is the play that I’ve been waiting from Lexi. She can score but at times looks hesitant. That wasn’t the case this weekend! She attacked the cup!
Trayanna Crisp 5’8 2022 G Millennium
Crisp is such a physical player. She’s very strong and has really good speed. If she can’t get past you using her speed, she will use her strength to bully you.
Kam Rhodes 5’5 2022 G Sabino
Rhodes is one of the top 2022 prospects and she showed it. She struggled a bit with her shot but her play making ability with top notch!
Kam Doty 5’6 2021 G Sabino
Doty was really hitting her shots this weekend. She can score at the basket or knock down the 3 ball. She is super aggressive in pursuit of points!
Jaida Brooks 5’6 2022 G Desert Vista
Brooks is so impressive with her handles. She may have the quickest handles in state and can play make. Her shooting has come a long way but could still be improved. Once she solidifies her shot, she’s going to be virtually unstoppable.
