Quincenia Jackson (Decatur MacArthur): Jackson should be a known commodity at this point entering her Junior year she had one of the most impressive Sophmore seasons in recent memory. She averaged 16.6 points and 10.2 rebounds per game last season, She constantly dealt with double teams and even seen a few boxed-and-ones in a couple of game. Her post game is very polished and crisp. She has a nice mid-range game and said she is embracing the grind of consistently working on her game.
Addison Newborn (St. Teresa)
The rising Junior was phenomenal last season averaging 14.3 points and 8.2 rebounds per game. This season she will be called upon to be feature more. Newborn has a diverse skillset which seems to be an easy transition in more of a feature role. She has a really good post-game with an effective faceup game. She is comfortable on the perimeter and is plus shooter from deep. She is definitely a player to monitor this year.
Mallory Oloffson (Normal Community)
Mallory first came on the scene at the Nike TOC she was outstanding at the event. What she did best was stretch the floor, unleashing a fury of 3’s. She runs the floor is well and is a really good rebounder in traffic. Very skilled passer in the high post as well.
Grace Hall (Homewood-Floosemore)
The biggest stock riser from this summer/fall Grace Hall is an absolute stud. Defensively she is the best defender in the midwest, she changes and alters shots, she has the ability to switch and guard pick and rolls. Her face-up game has gone to another level all her moves are quicker and more fluid. Her handles have improved from the mid-post, she is also a great finisher in the lane and has become a plus shooter from deep can make open 3’s with ease now. She’s still scratching the surface and will only get better.
