Sarah Andrews and Deja Kelly both were tabbed #BCSLocks by me in the 5th grade so that was in 2013, however, when I saw the talented players in the DC Queens organization the following year, I labeled 2020 a MONSTER CLASS
In the above paragraph, you’ll notice that I called Jordyn Merritt a what, #BCSLock, who does that and actually knows what the outcome will be, well I do and when you read the names of the players in the article, it’s filled with Texas Top 100 players, many in the Top 30 so when I say or write something, it’s not just for fun, I have and will always keep it real and although I didn’t say Hannah Gusters would be a #BCSLock, I said ” her size tells me she could eventually wind up being a player that controls both ends of the court” and the Baylor commit has proved once again, I know what I know and here is my Top 10
Sarah Andrews (Irving Macarthur) she has WNBA written all over her, her mindset was there as a 5th grader and she can simply dominate on the offensive end scoring every way imaginable
Hannah Gusters (Irving Macarthur) already committed to Baylor, her inside presence has continued to skyrocket year after year. She brings it on both ends of the court, but I saw it coming, that’s why I’m solo
Deja Kelly (Duncanville) after visiting her Top 5, decisions, decisions, decisions but her ability to “fill it up” was decided long ago as she smoothly scores at will
Jordyn MerrittJordyn Merritt (Plano) after helping her lead her team to a state championship a couple of years ago, she has continued to just amaze me as I think back to that link in the opening paragraph #BCSLock (Florida)
Deyona Gaston (Pearland) one of the most dominant players in the state, leaps over taller players at a single bound, plays multiple positions and scores anywhere and has committed to Mississippi State
Harmoni Turner (Mansfield Legacy) overwhelming talent on the court is superseded by her committing to Harvard and that in itself tells me a lot. Watching her play is like observing a work of art
Sahara Jones (San Antonio Veterans Memorial) one of the most athletic players in the state, that can play basketball, and she overwhelmed me over the summer getting stars in every aspect
Shay Holle, Myra Gordan, Sahara JonesShay Holle (Austin Westlake) Okay, I already had seen that she could play but she showed me she was a ‘playa’ on the court this summer. Her ability to create off the dribble as well as that pull-up will come in handy at Texas
Myra Gordan (LD Bell) I knew she would “ring some bells” at an early age, yep, #D1Lock with Higher Goals, but she’s shattered so many school records heading into her senior season, what’s next
Aaliyah Morgan (Robert E Lee) the general would be proud, well maybe not, but I definitely am as her continuous improvement as well as what she does on the court is why she’s heading to TCU
