2019 Fenwick Falcon Preview- Nov. 16
Ten games will be held this Saturday November 16 at Middletown Fenwick High School, as the 2019 Falcon Preview will take place. Several teams from around Southwest Ohio will be involved and it will be a good chance to enjoy some of the area’s top talent.
8:50am- Middletown Madison vs CHCA: Madison returns Ally King and Grace Baker, and back from injury is one of the top senior guards in the region Kenzi Saunders.
9:50am- Hamilton vs Northmont: Northmont brings in talented guard Kaitlin McCrary along with fellow senior Gabby Kline, both who has solid experience. Anna Cardwell is the leading returning scorer at Hamilton.
10:50am- Kenton Ridge vs McNicholas: McNick lost a lot of their scoring punch to graduation, as did Kenton Ridge. Mikalia Morris, Mallory Armentrout and Mariah Baker have all moved to the next level, and they will count on Joshlynn Johnson to lead their charge.
11:50am- Monroe vs Northwest: Monroe brings back Olivia Wells-Daniels who was their leading scorer last year. Kylee Slone just committed to Wittenberg and is a talented guard.
12:50pm- Dayton Carroll vs Columbus Hartley: Carroll was state runner-up last season and returns four starters and a solid bench. Julia Keller, Allie Stefanek, Ava Lickliter, Megan Leraas are their key players back, but Sarah Ochs also shined last year. They are the favorites to get back. Hartley is a solid group out of central Ohio.
1:50pm- Yellow Springs vs Fenwick: Yellow Springs will rely on Angie Smith, who as a freshman averaged over 20 points per game. Fenwick has two prolific scorers in Emily Adams and Hannah Beckman (pictured above), both among the top players in the GCL Coed Division..
4:00pm- West Carrollton vs Stivers: Two programs looking to get things turned around. West Carrollton struggled in the GWOC last year, and they have a solid guard in Brooklyn Cass returning along with Jailyn Seege.
5:00pm- Carlisle vs Middletown: Carlisle returns Caitlyn Stewart, a guard who had a good fall. Kaylee Lawson and Kaylee Dingee also expect to be major contributors for the Indians. Middletown will bring back a very talented guard in SaMill Calhoun along with Addison Bess and Arianna Layne.
6:00pm- Miami Valley vs Northridge: Last season, the offense was lacking at Northridge averaging less than 30ppg. They look to turn things around with Leslie Lane and Diamonique Story leading the way. Miami Valley brings back one of the best in the MBC in Katie Campbell, a prolific perimeter scorer. Jazlyn Smith also returns as a sophomore.
7:00pm- Middletown Christian vs Reading: Trinity Bellard is a very talented player who continues to improve for MC. Ellie Veal also returns. Reading will have to replace their top two scorers this season who graduated.
