Back in March, Legacy Christian and Franklin Monroe met for a spot in the regionals, and LC came away with a 49-34 victory in the district championship game pushing them into the Division Four Sweet 16.

The two teams, both with a lot of firepower back, met in the regular season on Saturday in Xenia, and FM withstood an early fourth quarter run by Legacy and escaped on the road 38-37 to remain unbeaten on the season. Legacy Christian suffered their second consecutive defeat for the first time since prior to the 2017 season.

Game MVP

Emma Hess hit some big shots all morning long, and finished the game with 22 points to earn the game Most Valuable Player. Hess drove to the rim to score, buried some big threes, and showed why she is considered to be a solid college prospect. Hess is a junior at Legacy Christian and is ranked #13 in the latest PGH Ohio rankings that were updated in October.
