The 71st annual Lady Tiger Classic is always a must-stop for me and I usually start off with this event and work my way back into other areas of town because of the multiple events and numerous talented players, I can't be stagnant and as far players, neither can they because you have to "seize the opportunity" when that opportunity arises and several did just that. Conroe pulled off a big win against New Caney without their talented sophomore PG Kennedy Powell who'll be back early in district play and Alvin was without scoring and long-range shooting sensation Mercedes Mancha, also a sophomore, who'll be back next week, I'll try to catch her at FBISD Tournament but there were several standouts on opening day and here are

Isabela Stafford-5'10 G (Conroe) the seniors' offensive session was on full display as she hit the mid to long-range consistently and helped lead them to an overtime victory.
