Big Six Gold
Blue Springs (13-12,6-4), Blue Springs South (15-12, 6-4), Lee’s Summit North (5-20, 2-8), Lee’s Summit West (20-7, 10-0), Park Hill (14-12, 6-4), Raymore-Peculiar (6-20, 0-10).
Lauren Draney, 5’9, G/F, 2021, Lee’s Summit North
An active player who can show up on both sides of the floor. She can operate on the perimeter and can go inside and score. Draney has the ability to play on the wing and can connect from a distance and also the mid-range area and can get to the free-throw line and score as well
Jordan Austin, 5’9, G/F, 2021, Park Hill
Austin really showcases her talent on the defensive side of the floor. She is active and keeps her hands up and looks to block shots and jump passing Lanes. She’s also a good transition player and can finish through contact. She’s physical and looks to play aggressive and make teams play carelessly with the ball.
Lauren Gillig, 6’0, F, 2021, Blue Springs South
A nice shot blocking forward who has good overall size and Link. She’s listed at 6’0 and can secure rebounds and force opponents to challenge. Gillig also has the ability to score from deep and can knock down shots with a hand in her face. We look for her tab a big season.
Aliyah Green, 6’2, F/C, 2021, Raymore-Peculiar
A nice post player for Raymore-Peculiar who can extend plays with her outside shooting and mid-range jumpers. Green is a strong defensive presence and looks to block shots and forced turnovers. She is creative as a scorer and is quick to shoot after the catch. She has some good post moves and can operate from the low and high post. A flexible player with good athleticism and overall size.
Abby Massengill, 6’0, F, 2021, Lee’s Summit West
A strong forward for Lee’s Summit West who can handle herself on both sides of the ball as a score and shot-blocking option near the basket. Massengill has good awareness and looks to keep her eyes on the play and contest shots at all cost. She’s also a good rebounder as a defender and can rebound on the offensive end and cleanup plays.
