Prep Girls Hoops takes a look at the upcoming season in Kansas City area’s Big Six Gold.

Big Six Gold

Blue Springs (13-12,6-4), Blue Springs South (15-12, 6-4), Lee’s Summit North (5-20, 2-8), Lee’s Summit West (20-7, 10-0), Park Hill (14-12, 6-4), Raymore-Peculiar (6-20, 0-10).

Aliyah Bello, 5’9, G/F, 2020, Blue Springs

A first-team all-conference and all-district performer who shows up on both sides of the floor and makes an immediate impact. Bello has great depth to her game and looks to score quickly and forced turnovers. She has an ability to break down opponents and defensive schemes and always seems to find an opening and get the balance. She has good vision as well and is a strong facilitator and unselfish player to boot.

Elizabeth Ernsting, 2020, Blue Springs South @eernsting121

A William Jewell commit, Ernsting put together a strong summer playing for the Kansas Elite 17U White team this past offseason after putting together a solid junior season for BSS. She has a smooth left handed shot with range out to the 3-point line but also is a terrific shot blocker, rebounder and able to post
