Continue ReadingSydney Caddell is a talented junior prospect in the state of Michigan. She is a 5’1″ guard and a key piece of a stellar junior class at Hartland High School. Last season she averaged 3.5 ppg. 2.1 rpg, and had 49 assists 51 steals. Caddell plays grassroots basketball with the Michigan Cagers. She also carries a 3.5 GPA.
Caddell is an extremely well rounded basketball player. She is very fast, allowing her to effectively play at any pace. Caddell is a strong perimeter defender that plays good team defense and understands rotations. She’s an energy player that is more than willing to hit the floor for a loose ball. Caddell is a strong shooter from both mid range and from deep.
Caddell is always trying to improve and gain experience in big games. She is currently working on her shot selection and her ability to attack the basket. Caddell’s top moment in high school basketball was when her Hartland team made the quarterfinals in both her freshman and sophomore seasons. She’s looking forward to the challenge of helping her team advance even farther this year. Caddell is eagerly anticipating rivalry games against Brighton and Howell.
Caddell has seen her recruitment heat up and has a lot to offer a college program. Her skill set is valuable in itself, but she offers even more. Caddell is a team first type of athlete. She will provide a program at the next level with a hard working player that leaves it all on the court. She will bring leadership both on and off the floor.

Sydney Caddell has goals that she wants to achieve. She wants her Hartland team to reach the state championship game this season. Caddell is striving to make a bigger impact in games by finding her shot more. She wants to play college basketball at a small to medium sized school and major in human biology/pre-med. Caddell would also like to get certified as an EMT.
