Here’s the latest recruiting news from around the state.
New Offers:
Franklin County Junior Brooklynn Miles is a top recruit nationally and she has added a new offer to her portfolio as Purdue offered the point guard while she was on campus two weekends ago.
Junior Emma Egan of Bullitt East was offered by Bellarmine after her unofficial visit last week. Emma is looking forward to a big season ahead for the Chargers.
Logan County Senior Paige Vanzant was offered by Earlham College last week. That is Paige’s first offer as she is about to embark on her Senior season.
Commitments:
Rockcastle County Junior Casey Coleman has committed to the University of the Cumberlands. Casey is a versatile forward prospect who will end her career as one of the top players in Rockcastle County history.
Coleman will be joined at Cumberlands by Pineville’s Whitney Caldwell. Caldwell is a scoring machine whose game is suited to the next level. She and Coleman make a nice combo to start the recruiting class for Coach Reeves and his staff.
Henderson County Senior Emilee Hope has made the decision to continue her playing career at Oakland City University. Hope is among the best players in Western Kentucky and is an absolute steal for Oakland City.
Oakland City went into Western Kentucky to get another good guard. Webster County’s Marissa Austin pulled the trigger on her commitment this weekend. Austin is a three sport star who should thrive on the court in college as she narrows her focus.
West Carter’s Ragan Adkins committed to Midway University this weekend. Adkins heads into her Senior year after averaging 3.7 points and 2.2 rebounds per game last year.
