Their final summer of AAU basketball is over, their last season of high school play is about to begin and nearly 60 of them have already made college commitments. They are the Prep Girls Hoops Class of 2020. We have put them in ranked order 10 times now and just one thing has remained consistent from the fall of 2016 – Paige Bueckers. The Hopkins guard has been #1 in this class since inception. In the ensuing years, Paige evolved from the top spot in Minnesota to the top spot in the country and is likely the best 18-year-old guard on the planet. This time around, positions 2 through 5 have also remained consistent as Lauren Jensen, Alyssa Ustby, Mackenzie Kramer and Mallory Brake have continued to impress. But that’s where the status quo ends.

The second five has seen some movement as Stillwater forward Liza Karlen (Marquette) has moved up one spot to #6. Farmington guard Molly Mogensen (Creighton) rises four places and into the #7 spot. And stepping into the top 10 is Maple Grove guard Abby Schulte (NDSU). It was Mogensen who made the loudest noise this summer, earning a first-team spot on our AAU Summer All
