Continue ReadingThe early signing period came and went very quickly and there are still some very talented college prospects that remain available at the moment. There is a fair amount of talent for left for colleges of all different levels, including Division 1 as well. Here are five names that college coaches need to know!
Top Unsigned Seniors:
1. 2020 6’8 C Sela Heide (Mt. Si HS/Tree of Hope)
- It is not too often that Washington sees a player of Sela’s size, maybe once every few years at the most, and some college coach is going to be fortunate to be able to get it after the first signing period. Sela sat out the summer with a dislocated knee cap and told prep girls hoops that she will sign in the Spring.
2. 2020 5’10 G Tiarra Brown (Bethel HS/Team Northwest)
- Tiarra’s club coach Vanessa McClendon announced that the athletic back court player’s recruitment is still open. She is a Division 1 athlete and has a knack for putting the ball in the hoop.
3. 2020 5’9 G Nakia Boston (Lynwood HS/NW Greyhounds)
- Nakia is a talented and versatile guard that can do a little bit of everything on the floor. Her recruitment hasn’t moved at quite the pace she would maybe like, but she would be capable of playing at multiple levels, depending on the fit she sees best for her. *Feature image
4. 2020 6’2 C Ramona Jagger (Decatur HS/YEA)
- One of the state’s better post players remains available. Ramona is a high energy athlete with a developing skill set on the offensive end. She got onto the club scene pretty late and her recruitment has been mostly quiet to date, but she would be a solid pickup for the right program.
5. 2020 5’7 PG Kareyna Taylor (Garfield HS/Tree of Hope)
- A quick athlete with some next level speed and potential as a lock-down defender at the next level. Kareyna transferred to Garfield following multiple successful seasons at Curtis High School. The senior PG should have a strong season for the Lady Bulldogs and look to get the right offer by the end of season.
