There is so much more talent to be aware of by just taking a little closer look at the players throughout the state. Here are just some of the current under the radar players to keep a close eye on as the season develops.
Under the radar seniors worth watching:
2020 5’6 PG Madisyn Clark (Moses Lake HS)
- Madisyn is an unsigned senior that has been a consistent player for Moses Lake over the last few years. She has a solid handle, nice pull-up jumper and controls the tempo of the game fairly well. She had multiple big scoring outbursts last year and I expect more of the same from her this season. Madisyn is a solid player all around that will be able to help some college.
2020 5’11 SG Rian Clear (Walla Walla HS)
- Rian Clear transfers into Walla Walla for her senior year with the challenge of turning a 7-16 team from a year ago into a contender. Rian has put up big numbers in previous seasons at Pullman and has an uncanny ability to put the ball in the basket. If healthy, she is one of the better scorers in Eastern Washington. She has gotten multiple looks from D1 on down, but she remains available at this time. *Feature image
2020 5’11 SG Maddie McMahon (Edmonds Woodway HS)
- A taller guard/wing that has been a really solid producer for the Warriors and helping them to the state tournament last season. Maddie can do a little bit of everything and is a multi-sport athlete that also gets it done on the volleyball court. She has played with the NWBA Bucky’s program, but remains unsigned at this time. Look for her to have a strong senior season.
2020 5’10 SG Kiernan Denckla (Kentridge HS)
- Kiernan looks to have a big year in the backcourt for the Kentridge Chargers. She has solid length and mobility and can defend multiple positions. This will be her fourth year contributing at the varsity level and that experience should bode well for her. Kiernan has played for Tree of Hope 16u and 17u EYBL the last few years, but remains unsigned at this time.
Others:
2020 5’5 G Emma Main (Mt. Spokane HS)
2020 5’5 PG Emma Wilhelm (Royal HS)
2020 5’6 SF Alicia Morrison (Meadowdale HS)
