2020 Prospect Rankings Update
Michigan is underrated as a girls basketball state and the senior class this year proves that. Prep Girls Hoops Michigan recently updated its prospect rankings for the class of 2020. There is a lot of unique talent and depth of skills in the class.
The rankings showcase elite talent nationally. Gabrielle Elliott is one of the top players in the country. The Detroit Edison star has signed with Clemson. Whitney Sollom is a power forward from Hartland and is signed with the University of Michigan. She’s one of the most well rounded and versatile post players in the midwest.
The class of 2020 rankings feature dominant centers as well. Sophie Dziekan from Brighton, Becca Morrish from Flushing, and Morgan Thompson from Northville are next level post players that can be found in the rankings.
If a college coach or fans of the game want to see defensive stoppers, the 2020 rankings are a good place to start. Shaulana Wagner from Detroit Edison is an elite perimeter defender. Kadyn Blanchard from Freeland has a reputation for guarding top offensive performers. East Lansing’s Sanaya Gregory is one of the best on ball defenders in the state.
Michigan’s class of 2020 rankings also features many rising stars. Jordan Banks is a senior wing from Bloomfield Hills. She is one of the fastest and most well conditioned players on the list and has tons of potential. Athena Samson, from Troy, is one of the fastest rising power forwards. Riley Davis is a forward from Chelsea that is moving up the rankings quickly.
The senior class has elite athletes included among the top prospects. Aaliyah McQueen , from Flint Carman-Ainsworth, has a reputation for having her way with defenders. East Lansing’s Aaliyah Nye is as smooth as they come on the wing.
