Chandler Park
Emaia O’Brien (2021, G)
I’ll start with an important fact for college coaches: She’s always been elite, but she just keeps getting better! O’Brien had an outstanding spring and summer and will carry that through to high school season. She’s a prolific ball handler that puts defenders on their heels. O’Brien can attack the rim and create for herself and her teammates.
Nykesha Sanders (2021, G)
Sanders and O’Brien are truly a special combination. Sanders can handle the ball with the best of them. She uses good hip movement and quickness to add a little flare to her game. Sanders has versatility on the perimeter that allows her to play on or off the ball. Sanders is a top 15-20 prospect in Michigan’s class of 2021and is a must see talent.
Kent City
Kenzie Bowers Kenzie Bowers 5'10" | PG Kent City | 2021 State MI (2021, G)
If I was able to see more of her games, I’d start a “Bowers Fan Club”. I just love her game. Bowers is a prolific shooter, easily one of the best in Michigan and probably the best in Kent City High School history. Her range extends well beyond the 3 point line. The best thing about Bowers is that she’s not just a shooter. She can handle the ball and run an offense in a steady and efficient manner.
Jenna Harrison Jenna Harrison 5'9" | SG Kent City | 2021 State MI (2021, G)
I guess they call her a shooting guard for a reason, because she can shoot, and do it well. I’ve honestly lost track of how many 3’s she’s hit already this season. Harrison can stalk the 3 point line and really extend a defense. She has always been an excellent player, but word is, she’s taken her game to a new level this year.
