She is a strong player, but needs to work on being more aggressive with her off the bounce game instead of settling for perimeter shots. Has a nice upside and will help the Antlers even more as the season moves forward.
Tia Murray, Elkhorn (JR): Murray is a strong, athletic post player who is very comfortable facing up and shooting from three point range. For her height, she is also able to put the ball on the floor and create for both herself and her teammates. She will need to develop her back to the basket game and continue to be more physical, but she has a great upside for the next level.
Reilly Palmer, Elkhorn (SO): The sophomore is perhaps the X-factor for the Antlers, and she shows flashes of brilliance. She is capable of scoring at all three levels, and is strong and finishes well around the rim. As she grows older, she will develop more consistency to her game, but she has the skills to be a next level player.
Kalli Kroeker, Norris (JR): Kroeker is a long, agile 6’0″ wing player who has a nice outside touch, and towards the end of this game showed some desire to get into the post area and attack the rim. She needs to be more physical on the boards, but she has a great upside physical. Needs to become more aggressive at both ends of the floor and use her length to her advantage.
Ella Waters, Norris (SO): Waters is perhaps the most intriguing prospect on the floor, as the lanky, 6’2″ sophomore has a great touch and an athletic gait that screams great upside. Waters struggled from the perimieter this game (0-5 from the three point line), but you can tell that she has a very nice stroke. Like Kroeker, she needs to be more physical and aggressive at both ends of the floor, and needs to look to attack more on the offensive end.
