Nia Newman | 5’6 W | Rockville 2022
The excitement is real in Montgomery County. One half of the Newman twins, 5’6 Wing Nia Newman, was a solid addition for the Rockville Rams her freshman year. The dynamic duo of Nia and Naila Newman went on to lead #2 Rockville to the Sweet 16 of the MPSSAA State Championship last year. Nia is ranked #44 on Prep Girls Hoops 2022 rankings, her sister Naila is ranked #33.
Chase Bell | 5’7 G | Sherwood 2022
5-7 Guard Chase Bell plays like she’s 6’0. Bell is an intelligent elusive guard for the #1 ranked Sherwood Warriors and can certainly fill up a stat sheet. Bell seems to always be around the ball and is always looking to facilitate when coming up the court. She also has a clutch outside jump shot and comes up big on boards. Chase Bell is quickly finding herself as one of the leaders of this Sherwood basketball team.
Paige Clausen | 5’11 W | Urbana 2021
Paige Clausen is on the come up in the Montgomery County region. Currently ranked #9 on Prep Girls Hoops 2021 rankings, Paige can be recognized as one of the best Wings in the state. Paige plays with an extreme amount of hustle while making it all look easy. I’m looking forward to seeing Paige develop an even better inside game as she goes into her Junior season.
