The power rankings for this week are determined by games completed prior to December 1st and all teams listed belong to the Northwest District board and subsequent sectional and district tournaments.
Division 1
1. Notre Dame Academy

2. Southview
3. Northview
4. Perrysburg
5. Findlay
Notre Dame Academy is the class of the Northwest Ohio region in Division I. There aren’t too many teams in NWO D1 (20 teams total), but Southview and Northview from Sylvania have had impressive starts and although Perrysburg lost to Bellevue and Southview – they were competitive, which landed them on these early-season rankings.
Division 2
1. Bellevue
2. Napoleon
3. Willard
4. Shelby
5. Perkins
No more Zia Cooke and Madison Royal-Davis at Toledo Rogers means that DII is wide open in the Northwest region of Ohio. Bellevue and the Santoro sisters are the front-runner to start the season, however – all 4 of the other teams on this list could knock them off on any given night. Willard will get their chance to do just that, this week.
Division 3
1. Hopewell Loudon
2. Margaretta
3. Ottawa Glandorf
4. Liberty Benton
5. Wynford
Hopewell Loudon is a game-changer in Division III and the addition of Kaia Woods has only made that more clear. They have come out of the gates strong – as have Margaretta and Ottawa Glandorf. Liberty Benton enjoyed long post-season runs in their fall sports, so they are getting a late start.
Division 4
1. Ottoville
2. Minster
3. Fort Recovery
4. Buckeye Central
5. Lucas
Even with a tough loss to Van Wert, Ottoville has looked impressive to start the season, as have Fort Recovery and Lucas. Although Minster has stubbed their toe and Buckeye Central took an early-season loss to Wynford, both teams are battle-tested and have enough talent to make deep post-season runs.
