Here is my All-Showcase Team in order of best impact performances.
Kayla Sesberry, courtsey of Hoop-NationKayla Sesberry | 5’6 | PG | Douglass | 2020
This was my first time seeing Sesberry play and I’m glad I got the chance. She showed great playmaking ability for both herself and her teammates throughout the entire game. She has the toughness to finish contested layups and good shooting touch behind the arc which she showed by knocking down four threes. One of her best attributes is the energy she plays with. She has a continuous motor with no regard for score or time in the game. She is one of the best guards still available in her class.
Kara Dunn | 5’11 | W | Mt. Paran | 2022 | #3
I have now seen Dunn in game action for the third time this season. She is #3 in our class rankings and was just as impressive as always. I love that she does not play to the level of her competition. If she is playing a less talented team she sticks out like a sore thumb. In addition to high offensive output, she had several assists with great extra passes. She scored 31 points in her game against Stone Mountain.

Coach Ashia Kennedy looks to have another state championship team and Samuel is a big reason why. The Oregon State commit is a long, athletic, wing showed her versatility throughout the entire game. She is quick in transition and finds ways to get to the rim for tough finishes. Samuel showed a nice touch on her shot and was able to score beyond the arc. She also showed an ability to rebound in traffic.
Mia Moore | 5’6 | PG | St. Francis | 2021
Moore was great for St. Francis. She runs the point for a team that has high-level players and she does a great job getting everyone involved. She plays with great tempo and is lightning quick in transition. She showed great intelligence on offense and good effort on defense coming up with multiple on ball strips. She finished with 6 assists and 4 steals. She is a college-level playmaker whose stock is rising.
Jaleah Storr | 5’8 | G | Eagles Landing | 2020 | #54
The Georgia Southwestern commit really showed herself to be a relentless competitor. She defended well showing good quickness while on the ball. She was also not afraid of contact and made her way to the foul line multiple times from strong drives. She was only able to hit 1 of 3 three-point attempts but her form looked good. She finished with 21 points.
Ta’Mia Stargell | 5’7 | G | Langston Hughes | 2022
This young guard has a good all-around game that is still developing. She consistently looked to get to the rim in her game. She can put it on the floor to make aggressive drives or make timely cuts showing good basketball IQ. She stepped out behind the arc to show her shooting ability as well. She has length and athleticism to be a good guard in the state for the 2022 class. She contributed 14 points for her squad and is on our watchlist.

Philson is a Lynn University commit and she will have great success there. Because of her length and athleticism, she was one of the most versatile players at the event. She can play and defend multiple positions on the perimeter and in the paint. She was most impressive in transition showing her speed and willingness to run the lanes to come up with easy layups. She finished with a double-figure point total.

One of the more aggressive guards in her class. She did not play much in the first quarter but made an immediate impact once she checked in. She is very quick and aggressive, especially on the defensive end. She can get out in transition with blazing speed and acrobatic tough finishes at the rim. Her athleticism shows up on both ends but helps her rebound very well for a guard. She also does a good job chasing down shots in defensive transition resulting in several blocks. She finished with 15 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 blocks.
